World Tai Chi Qigong Day April 28, 2018

Please arrive about 9:30am on the National Mall near the National Gallery of Art west building, on Madison Dr. between 4th and  7th. Nearby Metro stops are Archives and Judiciary Square.              

Performances will go from 10 - 11:15am, featuring the Taiji Paired Routine demonstrated by Grandmaster Li Deyin and Madam Fang Mishou. 

DC Tai Chi performers, please wear black performance uniforms,

Equinox performers, please wear the Equinox member shirts and black pants

Friendship Village performers, please wear all black.

There is no charge to participate, and we hope you’ll join us for this memorable event.

After demonstrations are over, there will be a photo session for the group, including Grandmaster Li, Madam Fang and Master Pat Rice. 

Lunch destination is Full Kee Restaurant on H St. between 5th and 6th. This is a 6 block walk from the Mall. If you prefer to Metro, go to Gallery Place/Chinatown. Saturday lunchtime parking in Chinatown is usually VERY difficult, FYI.

Registration: $75 per section, or for all four sections: $275. Those who attended last year's workshop on section one may attend Friday night for $20. (Fee for 4 sessions $245)

Workshops will be held at Stoddert Elementary School/Glover Park Recreation Center,  an easy walk from the Kimpton Glover Park Hotel

Washington Taiji Festival Performances: May 5, 2018

Please arrive about 12:30pm at the open common in front of the Jefferson Memorial, 701 East Basin Dr. SW. The nearest Metro stop is Smithsonian on Independence Ave. and 12th St.

Performances will happen continuously from 1 to 5pm.

Washington Taiji Festival Forum: May 12, 2018

TED talk style presentations will take place from 1 to 5pm (tentatively) in the AIG Building, 6700-A Rockledge Drive, Suite 200, Bethesda, MD 20817
